The NRL Telstra Premiership is a huge part of Australian Sports. Music fans of Sydney have been delighted with sensational local and international musical acts since the festival debuted in Sydney on Australia Day, 1992. In past years, the Big Day Out has provided fans with incredible bands including the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Foo Fighters, The Offspring, Fat Boy Slim and Kings of Leon.   Australian Open of Surfing

The beautiful Manly beach will join forces with Hurley and Billabong to create the Australian Open of Surfing. This surfing competition will showcase the top surfers in the world including Aussies Joel Parkinson and Taj Burrow. More than 60,000 people flock to Sydney Olympic Park to become one with the worlds best DJ’s. Stereosonic is Australia’s biggest and best dance music festival and popular amongst the Sydney crowd. The Australian Turb Club each year caters for the Sydney Spring Racing Carnival which is acknowledged as one of the largest horse racing carnivals in Australia behind the Melbourne Cup and Magic Millions Carnival. The City 2 Surf event is a run or walk from Hyde Park in the city centre to Bondi Beach.
