Located in Kensington, the Australian Golf Club is one of Sydney’s most exclusive courses. First constructed in 1905, the course has undergone dramatic changes in its long history. The current course bears little resemblance to its original and was designed in 1977 by golfing legend Jack Nicklaus. It now features moderated undulations and plenty of water hazards. This championship par 72 course features 18 challenging holes that will prove difficult for even the most experienced player. The course is only available to members and their guests to enjoy. The clubhouse features three restaurants to suit any occasion. The carvery is open daily for lunch and serves up light lunches and roasts, while The Australian offers a menu of modern Australian cuisine, accompanied by fine wines and personalised service. For a more casual meal, head to the Nublick Cafe with its tennis courts and barbecue facilities.
