The New South Wales Golf Course was constructed in 1928 and is a championship par 74 course, featuring 18 holes. The course is rated as one of the world’s top 50 and is the only Sydney golf course to make the top 100. Its architect was Dr Alastair McKenzie, who claimed the course featured “more spectacular views than any other place I know”. It is surrounded by a National Park and sits on the northern headland on Botany Bay. It is a links-style course set among the rolling hills and valleys that lead to the rugged Pacific coastline. Water surrounds the course on three sides and scrub-covered sand hills are scattered throughout. The clubhouse features panoramic views over the ocean and is available for functions, conferences and weddings. It features a bar to enjoy a drink after a game, as well as a pro shop for all your golfing needs.
