Sydney Wildlife World sits adjacent to the Sydney Aquarium and is a zoo featuring a wide array of native Australian wildlife. Its design is unique in that the zoo is completely enclosed and air conditioned, unlike most traditional outdoor zoos. It is set over three levels and broken into different habitats, from a reptiles section to Gum Tree Gully and its koalas. More than one kilometre of walking tracks wind their way through the zoo. 100 different species of animals call Wildlife World home, from birds and reptiles to butterflies and rock wallabies. The zoo is extremely interactive and is all about getting up close and personal with the animals. Pat a python, or hold a koala. See, touch and smell a variety of different animals or watch them being fed during feeding times.
